Hoosier Educators Scholarship & Next Generation Hoosier Minority Educators Scholarship
Deadline: January 31, 2025
The Indiana Commission for Higher Education is now accepting applications for the Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship, which provides up to $40,000 of financial aid to aspiring teachers. Learn more here.
Anita F. Boorda Scholarship For the Performing Arts Application
Deadline: February 15, 2025
The Anita F. Boorda Scholarship for the Performing Arts aims to support high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree in Performing Arts, Music, Theatre, Dance or Production. Students must be a resident of St. Joseph, Elkhart, Marshall, Kosciusko, Fulton, Pulaski, Starke or La Porte Counties in Indiana or Berrien or Cass Counties in Michigan; graduate with a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5 (4.0 scale) from an accredited high school by June 30 of the year of application; and plan to attend an accredited tax-exempt college or university to pursue a degree in Performing Arts, Music Theatre, Dance or Production through a full-time course of study. Preference will be given to students engaged in the performing arts during their high school career.
Rotary Club of La Porte Leigh Morris Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship
Deadline: February 20, 2025
The Scholarship is named for Leigh Morris, who served Rotary and the community in many leadership roles for decades. The focus of it is to encourage the young people to prepare to be leaders of tomorrow. Rotary is encouraging new graduates from La Porte High School, South Central, New Prairie and Tri-Township Schools to apply for a Leigh Morris Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship. Awards will be heavily focused on recognizing and supporting young women and men who demonstrate leadership ability, more so than academic standing alone.
