Unity Foundation has partnered with a third-party firm, Hedges, to conduct a La Porte County Nonprofit Needs Assessment. Our goal is to learn more about the needs, challenges, strengths, and hopes of the nonprofit community here in

La Porte County.

To best do that, we need your voice! We want to hear from as many nonprofit staff members, board members, volunteers, and supporters as possible to ensure that we are building an inclusive, expansive, and accurate understanding of the realities for nonprofits in La Porte County.

We are asking you to share your thoughts via an anonymous online survey, linked here. The survey will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27.

Incentive: Everyone who completes the survey may nominate a La Porte County nonprofit of their choice for the chance to win a $200 grant. Five nonprofits will be randomly selected to receive a grant.

Yes, the survey is anonymous. Hedges, a third-party firm, will collect and manage all the data. All responses will be compiled and pulled into a comprehensive data report that will highlight key themes and ideas without tying individual responses to any specific person or organization.

Good question! Yes. You can take the survey more than once if you have different roles with different nonprofits. So, if you are on staff with one nonprofit, you can take the survey with that organization in mind. Then if you are a regular volunteer for another nonprofit, you can take the survey again with the organization where you volunteer in mind.

Yes, please. Our hope is to capture as many perspectives as possible from people involved in La Porte County nonprofits, so we’d love it if you would share this email with colleagues or friends that should also participate.
