LA PORTE COUNTY, IN—Unity Foundation of La Porte County has partnered with a third-party firm, Hedges, to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment of the nonprofit sector across La Porte County.
The La Porte County Nonprofit Needs Assessment Survey is designed to better understand the needs, concerns, strengths, and aspirations of local nonprofits. The initiative aims to gather broad community input to help build a more expansive and accurate picture of the county’s nonprofit landscape.
Unity Foundation is encouraging participation from nonprofit staff members, board members, volunteers, and supporters throughout La Porte County.
“We want to hear as many voices as possible,” said Jeri Pat Gabbert, President & CEO of Unity Foundation. “Nonprofits play a critical role in our community. This assessment will help us better understand the opportunities, challenges, and priorities of local nonprofits so we can more effectively support long-term community impact.”
Community members are invited to complete the anonymous online survey at: uflc.net/needs. The survey will remain open through 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27.
As an added incentive, survey participants will have the opportunity to nominate any La Porte County nonprofit organization for a chance to receive a $200 grant. Five organizations will be selected.
